General description of the collection: The Ernest J. (Jack) Rokahr papers include Rokahr's two volume memoir, I NEVER HAD IT SO GOOD : AN AUTOBIOGRAPHY OF THE WAR, written in the winter of 1945-1946; revised; and rewritten in the winter of 1947-1948. Table of Contents: Chapter 1. C.P.2: Spain, Gibralter, Marseille, Convoy to Alsace, Bischweiler, Gambsheim, Offendorf, Herrlishheim; Chapter 2.
